The Philippine Professional Standards for Teachers (PPST) serves as our guiding star, illuminating the path towards becoming effective and impactful educators. As we embarked on our Field Study 1, we sought to understand these standards not merely as abstract concepts, but as living principles that shape the dynamic reality of teaching and learning. The PPST, with its seven domains Content, Knowledge, and Pedagogy; Learning Environment; Diversity of Learners; Curriculum and Planning; Assessment and Reporting; Community Linkages and Professional Engagement; and Personal Growth and Professional Development provides a comprehensive framework for teacher quality across all career stages.
